- Tips are made from ultra-low retention, medical-grade virgin polypropylene

- Rack bases and grids are made from our exclusive EcoResin®: 99% post-consumer recycled polypropylene - A reduction of up to 61% in the use of virgin polypropylene per rack of tips
Advantages of the Vertex Filter Membrane:
- Manufactured from high-density, inert polyethylene (HDPE)
- Contains no additives that can contaminate samples if encountered
- Provides a barrier against contamination, but will not impede airflow
- Hydrophobic properties prevent absorption of samples.
